ReplyDeleteSuzanne, I've loved this blog since I stumbled upon it the day you interviewed Marissa Farrar. I follow and try to stop by everyday but ... life gets in the way, then I drop in and read about three days' worth of posts at once ;)!
ReplyDeleteWhat I like best about Preternatura is learning about authors I've never heard of. I'm bad about sticking with one or two authors-blinders thing- and your blog has introduced me to two in the last month: Marissa and now Marta.
I like all of the content but telling me about books and authors I've missed is tops in my book: keep up the great work!

I've enjoyed your site. It's very easy to navigate through unlike some that are like mazes and take nearly forever to load. Yes you do have awesome author interviews and giveaway's. The only thing I could say would be keep up what your doing. You have an awesome blog and its always updated. Of course the free original fiction does sound good =)Us readers will always welcome good reads. Thanks.

Ive really enjoyed everything on your blog since I found it. But I always like interviews, reviews and sample fiction. And analysis of market trends I only discovered recently but its quite interesting.

ReplyDeleteInterviews are a mixed bag as sometimes it seems the same authors are interviewed on a whole lot of different blogs. That can get boring.

Everything you listed. When I am considering a book by an author whose work I have not read, I like to read a review. So, reviews of books by new authors or a book that is in a new genre by that author would be welcome. I read author interviews with my favorite authors and, when I have time, interviews with other authors. Free fiction is always tempting. Information about writing, editing, and publishing; interviews with agents and editors; and market trends in speculative fiction would be useful because I have been encouraged to publish more of my fiction. I also like the giveaways and lists of upcoming releases.
