Happy Memorial Day everyone. I hope we all remember our veterans, both active and past. I'll tip my hat to my late father, who served as a U.S. Navy seaman on a mine-sweeper in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Have a lovely day, and see you tomorrow with the first of two Reader's Choice contests this week!
I hope you enjoyed your holiday. My grandfather served in WWI, my great grandfather served in WWI and part of WWII (I believe) and my father served in Vietnam. I'm so glad our soldiers are not returning home to the controversy the Vietnam vets did.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful holiday =) We have a huge military family and it's a big holiday for us. My Father is retired AF, Father in Law is retired Navy and my husband is an active officer in the Army. I've pretty much been everywhere...lol. Thanks for such a great blog Suzanne, that you take so much of your time on for us readers. It's much loved!
ReplyDelete@Ciara--Ditto on the Vietnam comment. I hope the country learned something from the shameful way those veterans were treated.
