YA Review and Giveaway: OBSIDIAN by Jennifer Armentrout

 I’ve been grinning as several of you who’ve already entered the Reader’s Choice giveaway this week said you wanted Jennifer Armentrout’s Obisidian because…well, here it is again! So if you want this one, you have two chances to win it this week!

MY THOUGHTS: Okay, I almost didn’t run that official blurb because one of the cool things about this book for me was that I read it when it was in manuscript form, and had no clue what it was about. So the whole alien thing kind of blew the top of my head off (in a good way). But since the publisher chose to spring that surprise before the horse left the gate (how many metaphors can I mix in one sentence….a lot!), I figure you know it already.

            What I most loved about this fast-paced, sexy YA from Jennifer Armentrout is the voice of Katy, who is a book blogger dragged to a new town by her widowed mom. She’s sharp and a little snarky and laugh-out-loud funny…and the twins next door, sexy-arrogant-jerk Daemon and his sister, drive her nuts. Armentrout also manages to both tie up the storyline but leave enough hanging so that I, for one, can’t wait for the second in the Lux series to come out.
