YA Thursday: THE WOOD QUEEN by Karen Mahoney--Get a Copy!

Today's featured book is THE WOOD QUEEN, a new paranormal YA by Karen Mahoney. I haven’t had a chance to read it yet myself, but I really loved the first book, The Iron Witch, so I’m anxious to see what Donna and her hot fey guy Xan and her *cough* wimpy BFF-who-loves-her Navin get up to in this one. Not that I’m choosing sides or trying to influence her in the least, of course.

Want to win a copy of The Wood Queen? Read on…
ABOUT THE BOOK: Donna Underwood is in deep trouble. An ancient alchemical order is holding her accountable for destroying the last precious drops of the elixar of life. Never mind the fact that Donna was acting to free her friend, Navin, from the dangerous clutches of the Wood Queen at the time. But what the alchemists have in store is nothing compared to the wrath of the fey. The Wood Queen has been tricked and Donna must pay. Get ready for all hell - quite literally - to break loose.
Want to win a copy of The Wood Queen? Who would you choose—the sexy guy who’s got some serious issues (like being half fey), or the steady, dependable guy next door? You know the drill, mes amies: one entry for comment, a second for blog follow, third for Twitter follow @Suzanne_Johnson, and a fourth for a tweet or retweet.

  5. I really liked the first book. The one flaw it had was that it had trouble standing on its own, so I'm curious to see what happens in this one.

As for the question: I'd go for the sexy person with issues, because if the dependable one was worth it I'd have picked that one long before meeting the sexy one. I'm not the type that suddenly feels attracted to someone I've known for years.
